Some of the subjects below have legal consequences, and our Terms of Use contain the formal agreement governing your use of CreatorHauz.

 

These Policies are intended to explain many of those principles in language people can actually understand.

Contributor and Featured Content

Creators, founders, studios, businesses, executives, brands, and other contributors may have opportunities to publish or participate in CreatorHauz features.

Some may be offered at promotional or discounted rates.

 

Others may involve a publishing, promotional, participation, or feature fee.

 

Regardless of price, contributor-directed features operate within the same broader CreatorHauz publishing ecosystem.

Brands, creators, businesses, and other organizations may purchase advertising or promotional visibility across CreatorHauz.

 

Where appropriate, advertising or sponsored material may be identified so readers understand the commercial nature of the placement.

CreatorHauz is not exclusively a traditional newsroom.

 

It is also a publishing platform where participation, visibility, and self-representation are part of the value exchange.

 

Contributor Features

Know What You’re Publishing

This is one of the most important things to understand about CreatorHauz.

 

Some CreatorHauz stories are built substantially from content supplied directly by the person or organization being featured.

 

That may include:

• Biographies

• Photographs

• Company information

• Logos

• Websites

• Social links

• Quotes

• Professional information

• Other submitted materials

 

When you participate in this type of feature, you are helping shape your own representation.

 

You may be:

• Choosing the questions.

• Writing the answers.

• Selecting the images.

• Providing the links.

• Deciding what parts of your story you want people to know.

 

That is different from independent third-party reporting.

Your Content, Your Responsibility

CreatorHauz is designed to give contributors meaningful control over their stories.

 

With that control comes responsibility.

 

You are responsible for ensuring that the information and materials you submit are lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and appropriate for publication.

 

You should not knowingly submit:

• False or materially misleading information

• Content you do not have permission to use

• Copyrighted materials you are not authorized to publish

• Private information belonging to another person without permission

• Defamatory material

• Fraudulent claims

• Impersonations

• Material that violates another person’s rights

 

If you submit something to CreatorHauz, we may rely on your representation that you have the right to submit it.

 

Your Photos, Logos, and Other Materials

This deserves special attention.

 

Being in a photograph does not necessarily mean you own the rights to that photograph.

 

If a photographer, agency, brand, employer, studio, or another third party created or owns something you want to upload, make sure you have the necessary permission to use it.

 

That applies to:

• Logos

• Artwork

• Graphics

• Screenshots

• Video

• Audio

• Music

• Brand assets

• Other people’s likenesses

• Third-party intellectual property

 

If you are unsure whether you have permission, figure that out before publishing.

Ownership and Permission to Publish

In general, you continue to own the original content you otherwise own.

 

Submitting something to CreatorHauz does not automatically mean you are transferring ownership of your original material to us.

 

But publication requires permission.

 

By submitting material for publication, you authorize CreatorHauz, AmpLever, and the parties involved in operating and distributing the publication to use that material as described in our Terms of Use.

• Promotional graphics

For example, we may use your submitted photograph, your name, a quotation from your interview, and your article headline to create a social graphic announcing:

Your Feature Should Lead Somewhere

CreatorHauz is intentionally designed to help readers discover the people and companies we feature.

 

Contributors may be able to provide links to destinations such as:

• Personal websites

• Company websites

• Instagram

• LinkedIn

• YouTube

• TikTok

• X

• Newsletters

• Stores

• Membership platforms

• Approved professional or social destinations

 

We want readers who become interested in you to have somewhere to go next.

 

But once someone clicks an external link, they are leaving CreatorHauz.

 

We do not control third-party websites and cannot guarantee their:

• Security

• Accuracy

• Availability
